Resource People
Pilot City Trustees promote bi-cultural initiatives that help alleviate social problems. They sponsor community liaison volunteers to help prevent youth offending and resolve family conflict. Trustees publish a newsletter three times a year to highlight effective preventative projects operating in local communities
Trustees facilitate cooperation between people from different cultural backgrounds. They organise unity celebrations and an annual dinner that honours Napier residents with civic awards in recognition of ongoing service to their communities.
Regular seminars and workshops with visiting facilitators raise social awareness as to the latest know-how regarding Transformative justice, habilitation and cooperative ventures.
Trustees build on the combined talents of community liaison volunteers to work together for the betterment of people who have been disadvantaged or taken for granted by unfair policies of the privileged and the powerful.
