What we do: Hui and meetings
AGM
Every year (typically in August) the Trust holds its AGM to which all members and friends of the Trust
are invited. During the meeting the audited accounts, Chairman's report and various staff / key
volunteer reports are presented for ratification by the meeting. A vote is also taken to appoint or
reappoint Trust Board members.
The AGM is a good opportunity for you to hear first hand about the work of the Trust. Anyone wanting to
go on an invitation list is welcome to contact the office. The Trust also meets every now and again to
work on a strategic and / or business plan.
Conferences / workshops and Hui
Most years the Trust organises one or more hui, workshops or events in addition to its regular fare
(e.g. Unity Week and the Treaty of Waitangi workshops). Examples include an annual hui to celebrate
the Robson Collection, held in the Napier Library. To find out about this years programme, click here
Earlier this year an event was held to launch the SuperGran movement here in the Bay, featuring Ann
Abraham, Manager of the Arohata Women's Prison and Kathy Braddick, co-orindator of the Pahiatua
based Bush Grans movement.
Details of proposed events will be posted on this website, on the Trusts Facebook
page and outlined in its regular newsletter. Back |
