What we do: Your community place website

This project will develop a website for community sector providers to enable them to better connect

with people in need and co-ordinate with each other. This was one of the initial objectives of the Trust

when the Pilot City concept was first formulated (a social databank). It will aim to create a fully

interactive website that will enable community service providers to list and coordinate their services, for

people to register their needs (or those of others they are aware of in their neighbourboods) along with

handy and practical information such as contact details etc. Members of the public will be able to

search the site for information on providers, make appointments etc.

Initially one or more meetings will be held with community service providers to plan the content of the

proposed site. To download an overview of the proposed project, click here.

The Your Comunity Place website project is being co-ordinated by Megan Rose. To contact her by

email click on this link: megan@outloud.co.nz

Updates on this project will be added to this page periodically.
